When Should We Send Out Our Invitations?
Hi, our wedding is on 8th April 2022, less than a year away already! My BFF mentioned she thinks invites should go out now, I feel like it’s still too early. When should we send out wedding invitations? We won’t be doing save the dates, not sure if that makes a difference. Thank you in advance!
A year in advance is way too early – unless is this a destination wedding where people need to book a year in advance?
Also, peoples circumstances change, your guest list may change a little bit between now and then. If you’re not doing save the dates I would recommend sending out the Wedding Invitations 6-8 weeks before so people can plan.
When to send out invitations for an overseas wedding?
If you are getting married oversea’s consider sending the invitations out 6-8 months in advance; there might be things for your guests to consider such as childcare, passport renewal or vaccinations.
When to RSVP to a wedding invitation?
Ultimately your guests should respond to your RSVP straight away. Put a date when you would like the RSVP’s returned by, I can guarantee though you will be chasing a few outstanding RSVP’s, don’t be shy; this pick up the phone and give those guests a call.
